Happy postseason eve

Hello Fanatics,
Tomorrow the Pittsburgh Pirates will take on the Cincinnati Reds for a 1 game playoff to see who will move on to play the St. Louis Cardinals in a series playoff. Being a 19 year old Pittsburgh Pirate fan, I have never been alive to see a winning season let alone a playoff game in the city of Pittsburgh. After a three game sweep of the Red's over this past weekend, many people are concerned that the Pirates may fall apart in this one game playoff; I say no way. With 39,000 anxious Pirate fans who have been waiting 20 years to see another Pirate playoff game I find it very hard to believe the Pirate players won't feed off of the stadium energy and succeed in getting the W. I feel confident that Andrew Mccutchen will have the game of his young career and be the x-factor in tomorrows matchup.
I hope that my next blog will be filled with excitement on the Pirates win and a look forward into the series with the Cardinals. Thank you all for tuning in and lets go Bucs.

Hello, my name is Nick Foglio. I am a sophomore at Slippery Rock University where I am majoring in Sport Management and minoring in Business Management. I am from Wexford PA, where I attended North Allegheny High School. I played Lacrosse in high school and absolutely love the sport.

I am a Pittsburgh sport fan, but when it comes to basketball I am  die hard Laker fan. Working either as a sport agent, or a sales rep for a professional sports team is a dream of mine.
